About the author
H.B. Cavalier was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, though her experiences in Israel, the West Bank, and the Peruvian Amazon have also influenced her work. Equal parts writer and mystic, she uses fiction to untangle psychic knots, explore collective karma, and heal past lives. Unthreaded is her second book, following the darkly comedic magical realism novel Farewell, Everything, which was published under the pen name Véva Perala. When she’s not channeling war ghosts, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and creating art with her small family.
